Position Summary
Responsible for managing the end-to-end purchase order (PO) lifecycle across key retail channels, including Mass and Grocery accounts (e.g., Target, Walmart, KeHE, UNFI). This role ensures accurate order execution, compliance with customer requirements, and timely fulfillment.
The position acts as a central coordination point between customers, supply chain, and internal teams to proactively monitor order status, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues efficiently. It requires consistent and clear communication with stakeholders to support service excellence and strengthen customer relationships.
Experience working with major retail accounts such as Target, Walmart, KeHE, and UNFI is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full purchase order (PO) lifecycle from entry to fulfillment across retail accounts (1-2 years of experience- required)
- Ensure accuracy of orders and compliance with customer-specific requirements
- Monitor order status proactively to identify risks, delays, or discrepancies
- Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, logistics, sales, etc.) to ensure timely execution
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal stakeholders
- Resolve order issues quickly and effectively to minimize disruptions
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to orders and performance
- Support continuous improvement in order management processes
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with order management systems (OMS or similar platforms)
- Strong understanding of supply chain and order fulfillment processes
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
